#Digtial art ... real art?

I did two versions on the "artpad" site. Although the 2nd version is a few in the process of making the finial stage. I just based them on flowers, because flowers are simple to draw and easy to create/decorate.
a) A discussion point. “Is digital art a valid form of art?”
I beleive digital art is still a form of art. Art is about expressing ones inner feelings, or creating something that will take a breath out of people, make them stink about life, realise the meaning of a paiting. Art is about expressing what words cannot simply even take into action. Art is any form of understanding ones feeligns without actually having to say it, that is art. And when any form of art can show how one is feeling, even if it's with mordern technology, it's still art because you are still able to explain and give off a message.
b) What are some of the advantages that digital paint and draw programs offer over the traditional methods (canvas and paint).
Some of the advantages is that it doesn't get messy. You don't need to buy the canvas or the millions of buckets of different colours. You don't need the palat and it is easy to select the colours you desire. You can adjust it to match it even more with the colour you want.
c) What skills must a digital artist possess to create great digital art?
You must have patience and a very steady hand. You have to think carefully about what you are going to do, you have to make sure that you are clam because when you try dry with a shaky hand it goes all over the place. You must be able to control your hand via a mouse.
